One of the biggest events in the Rover calendar is Sandblast. Sandblast is a buggy race held up at Walky Park, a track near Blanchetown. All the buggies that compete are built and maintained by members of the Scouting Movement, and the event even attracts visitors from interstate. There are several time trial races and categories, and for those who aren't interested in cars there's always some trackside entertainment!

Aesir are currently building a buggy to compete at Sandblast, after a break of several years. Our buggy's name is Loki, and with a lot of hard work we had it ready to race at Sandblast 2010! However buggies are a lot of hard work, and we're always looking for people to get involved.
